FLOKI TO REACH 500 MILLION PEOPLE THROUGH PARTNERSHIP WITH WORLD TABLE TENNIS

Floki has formed a strategic partnership with ITTF World Table Tennis (WTT) that will introduce the Floki brand to over 500 million people from all over the world as official sponsor of the ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Finals.

The partnership with WTT is the first ever cryptocurrency-related partnership the organization has entered into, and it will provide Floki with a significant global platform to reach hundreds of millions of table tennis fans.

This partnership will introduce the Floki brand to this monstrous, hard to reach TV and digital audience through match table LED display, table side A-boards, WTT website brand mark placement, global press release, and social media posts across Global WTT social channels for the 2023 ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Final that will take place from 20–28 May at the ICC Convention Center in Durban, South Africa.

Besides the massive global reach of the 2023 ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Final, we expect this partnership to give Floki and our flagship metaverse game Valhalla significant exposure in China and Hong Kong — key regions that are expected to play a key role in crypto adoption this year.

Table tennis was declared the National Sport in China in 1952. It is currently the number one and most-watched sport in China — with over 337 million people actively following the sport in the country which is home to 116 World Champions.

The ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Finals is the World’s largest Table Tennis event and it attracts a young, digitally connected fanbase. 75% of the audience is aged between 16–49 — highly educated and well informed. The ideal target audience for crypto.

BTOK PARTNERSHIP EXTENDED UNTIL END OF THE YEAR

Floki has also extended its partnership with Btok, which is the biggest crypto social media platform in China, until the end of the year.

We initially announced our partnership with Btok earlier this year as a part of our plan to introduce the Floki cryptocurrency to the wider population of Chinese crypto users. The initial partnership was expected to run for 3 months and feature Floki in four premium locations on the platform.

The extended partnership will allow Floki to make A LOT more impact in China by featuring Floki in two more spots in addition to the original four that was announced. It will run until the end of the year, making it impossible for Chinese crypto users to miss Floki throughout the year.

The timing of these moves is strategic and they’re happening just in time as Hong Kong is expected to legalize crypto trading for its citizens on June 1. Hong Kong’s latest crypto moves is widely regarded as a test bed for a similar wider move in China in the near future, and many affluent Chinese investors are known to use it as a conduit for their cryptocurrency trading activities.
