The UN commission of inquiry into the killing of Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh last year, said it identified the commander of the IDF unit, they claim was responsible for the fatal shooting. According to a CNN report, the chairman of the commission said Israeli forces used unnecessary and imprudent lethal force in contradiction to international human rights laws.
