Azerbaijani Foreign Minister to open embassy in Israel

Cooperation between Israel and Azerbaijan is reaching a new level. Thus, an Azerbaijani embassy is being opened in Israel. The opening ceremony will be attended by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov will pay an official visit to Israel, where he will take part in the opening ceremony of the Azerbaijani embassy in Israel, reports vestikavkaza.ru

The decision to open an embassy in Israel was made in November last year by the Azerbaijani parliament. The countries have maintained diplomatic relations since 1992.

It should be noted that at present Israel continues to expand cooperation with the countries of the Arab East. In particular, Israel signed documents securing the normalization of relations with the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, and then with Sudan and Morocco.
